Meet Your Therapist

Hi, I’m Amy (She/Her)

Amy (She/Her) is the founder of Lumen Psychotherapy, based in Sydney. I’m a registered Psychotherapist and Counsellor with the Australian Counselling Association (ACA).

I’ve worked in community and private settings, supporting a wide range of people through life’s ups and downs. My background includes working with high school students navigating academic, personal and family challenges as well as supporting individuals living with chronic health conditions through a not-for-profit organisation.

As a trauma-informed integrated therapist, my practice built on a foundation of person-centred therapy and I draw from a variety of therapeutic psychological interventions and techniques to tailor our sessions to your unique needs.

At the heart of what I do is create a space where you feel safe, heard, and supported. We’ll work together to explore ways of healing and growing that feel right for you. It’s a collaborative journey where you’ll be met with empathy, compassion and curiosity, never judgment.

Outside of work, I love spending time with friends and family, travelling, and diving into different hobbies. Since moving from Canada, I’ve embraced Sydney life wholeheartedly—whether that’s enjoying the beaches, soaking up the sunshine, or exploring the city’s endless cafés in my ongoing search for the best croissant.
