Complaints.
If you have any concerns or complaints about the services you’ve received, Amy takes them seriously and aims to resolve them in a fair and timely manner.
1. How to Make a Complaint
If you feel Amy has treated you unethically during your counselling experience, you are encouraged to express your concerns. As a registered psychotherapist with the Australian Counselling Association, Amy’s conduct is governed by the ACA Code of Ethics.
As a first step, you are encouraged to discuss your concerns directly with Amy, if you feel comfortable. She may be able to clarify the situation or address any misunderstandings.
If the issue remains unresolved and you are still not satisfied with the outcome, you may escalate your complaint to the Australia Counselling Association (ACA) in Australia. You can find further information on their complaint procedures in their guidelines here.
Amy endeavours to ensure everyone receives a professional and respectful service. Your feedback is valued to help improve the practice. Thank you for trusting Amy with your care.
2. Confidentiality and Non-Retaliation
Your complaint will be handled with the utmost respect and confidentiality. No one will be penalized or treated unfairly as a result of raising a concern.
